So thank you! Hey there and welcome! Once I learned the power of prayer , I was able to see exactly how God steps in on our lives. And because of that reason wanting to pray more strategically and also more intentionally I wanted to share a fun and exciting way to set up our prayer journals! I really like it because it keeps everything I need in one place; I can keep track of answered prayers plus it keeps everything organized.

Which is why creating a prayer journal helps keep us accountable and intentional in our prayers. So many people doubt that prayer actually works; but it does! I have witnessed the power of prayer countless times. And when we have a system that does keep track of it we can really see God working in our lives without a doubt. Which makes us so much more humble and more ways to give our Heavenly Father praise.

We are more intentional about the different areas of our lives that we are praying for. However, you can totally adapt this post and create a prayer binder. As you can tell, this pretty much sums up every area of our lives. We can separate these sections by simply folding down a page in our journal for each section.

If you want to use a binder I would mark on each tab the name of each section. We should be praying for our own relationship with God. To humble ourselves and submit to His will. After our relationship with God our marriage should be next.

We made a vow before God to enjoy the blessing of marriage. Check out Ephesians for that reflection. Most people will read those verses and see it as oppressing and harsh. One of the easiest ways Satan tries to attack us is through our marriage. Incidentally, my husband and I grew up in the same area, went to the same schools together he even had classes with my brother and cousin! There were trials we both had to face to grow more in our faith individually before God brought us together.

That would be our children if you have any , parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, basically everyone you view as family to you. Also remember to pray for the faith of our family members, even the non believers. One of the greatest acts of love we can do for others is to pray for them.

Any how, this is where we pray for our bible study leaders and members, our church leaders, the church in the world, and other Christ followers. We see a disconnect between the many different churches.

So definitely pray that we would all be a united people. Another pretty self explanatory section. Also praying for God to step into their lives and do what only He can do. As I mentioned earlier that interceding is one of the most loving acts we can do for one another.

Any other person who God brings to mind during my prayers is considered a friend. We are called to love our enemies and pray for them; even if they mistreat us Luke Believe me, the last thing I want to do is pray for someone who has blatantly hurt me.

This is another huge area to pray for. Money so easily corrupts people; which is why we need to constantly remind ourselves to not let it rule over us. Instead, God is our master and money means nothing to us.

I firmly believe that God uses our finances as a means to test our faith. To see if we truly trust in Him to provide for all our needs. Countless times God has shown His faithfulness in my life to trust in Him to provide for us. And somehow everything works out. I love the beautiful verse in Matthew 6 that compares us to birds and how God provides for them.

Additionally, we also need to be willing to tithe and to do so with a humble and happy heart. This physical and financial sacrifice reminds us and shows God that our trust is in Him. We are called to serve one another and to be the light in the world. That we may be ready for them both in and out of season.

I believe that we all should be doing some kind of ministry work. When I have the time I like to write out my prayers for each section. It feels incredible being able to take my time in prayer and not feel rushed. To just write and pray for everything that comes to mind and slowly work my way through all the areas of my life.

Like my faith, my husband and son, ministry opportunities, and any other prayer requests that come up. No matter what, at some time during the day, I make sure to write out the prayers from my prayer list. However, I just write and pray the way Holy Spirit guides me. I pray that this post sheds some light into some new ways and areas to pray. Your email address will not be published.
